Moldova: Joint Amicus Curiae Brief on the Ineligibility of Persons Connected to Political Parties Declared Unconstitutional
This Joint Amicus Curiae Brief was prepared by the European Commission for Democracy Through Law (Venice Commission) and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) following a request from the President of the Constitutional Court of Moldova.
The Brief is intrinsically related to the Joint Follow-up Opinion of the Venice Commission and ODIHR to the Joint Opinion on amendments to the Electoral Code and other related laws concerning ineligibility of persons connected to political parties declared unconstitutional.
