The OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine, in cooperation with partners — the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Freedom of Speech, the Situation Center for Cybersecurity of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting — invites media professionals to participate in the training “Physical and Digital Security of Journalists During Wartime.”
Target audience: journalists, editors, and media managers from national and regional media outlets, primarily from frontline regions of Ukraine.
During the event, the participants will:
- acquire practical skills in digital and physical security;
- learn about the specific challenges of working in high-risk areas;
- take part in a dialogue session on ethical standards and professional responsibility, with joint conclusions prepared as the outcomes of the discussions.
Representatives of public authorities, as well as recognized national and international experts will be among the speakers of the event.
The organizers will provide:
- accommodation;
- meals;
- reimbursement of travel expenses (within established limits).
