North Macedonia: Constitutional Adjudication and the Act of the Court in North Macedonia

On 1 April 2026, the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of North Macedonia, sent to the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (hereinafter “ODIHR”) a request for a legal review of the Act of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of North Macedonia (hereinafter “the Act”).

This Opinion was prepared in response to the above request. ODIHR conducted this assessment within its mandate to assist the OSCE participating States in the implementation of their OSCE human dimension commitments.
