Chlorine. Safety Rules in Emergencies

Modern industry and utilities use chlorine extensively, notably as disinfectant, but also in production of paints and pharmaceuticals. In case of a spillage, it poses a significant threat to human health and life.

This publication, produced within the OSCE projects in Ukraine, provides tips on how to recognize a threat from incidents with the substance, and outlines basic safety rules for such situations.
