Overview

The OSCE WIN project works with women leaders and civil society in Ukraine to strengthen their role in peace, security, and recovery. Since 2021, WIN has supported women’s leadership, inclusivity, and resilience through capacity-building, psychosocial support, and practical tools to respond to the war’s impact and lead reconstruction efforts.

Today, WIN continues to prioritize support for Ukrainian women leaders and activists, addressing urgent challenges while contributing to sustainable recovery. Activities range from leadership training and gender- and disability-inclusive humanitarian response to peer networks and direct assistance for women’s organizations.

Focus areas in Ukraine:

  1. Supporting gender-sensitive and inclusive recovery and reconstruction in Ukraine.
  2. Preventing and responding to violence in conflict and post-conflict settings.
  3. Promoting women’s leadership and role to strengthen comprehensive security.
  4. Enhancing the capacity of CSOs and institutions to deliver a more inclusive and effective response to evolving security and humanitarian needs.
